At Total Environment, we started with a simple mission: to make homes worth living in. This simple idea took us places we couldn’t have initially imagined. If the end result is not beautiful and does not provide a sense of complete calm to the heart and the mind, it is not the right solution. Simple: Good design is simple, unobtrusive and restrained. Every element exists for a reason. People-centred: Good design is about trust and connection. It’s about understanding people and their individual needs. It must provide an experience that is joyous, fulfilling, and inspiring. Functional: Good design is joyfully functional, taking care of every little need of the user. Reliable: Good design is reliable. It is thorough down to the smallest detail, leaving nothing to chance. It deploys the best in engineering, science and technology, and research, feedback loops, standardisation & continuous improvement to deliver performance at the highest levels. Sustainable: Good design is in harmony with nature, always ensuring that we achieve our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs.
